glspace is a (another) small hobbyproject to recreate something
similar to Frontier and Frontier First Encounters.

as its more a fun project than anything else, don't expect
anything to be released soon.

i'm trying to create a realistic procedural galaxy with procedural
solarsystems and planetsurfaces, all rendered on modern
graphics hardware.

it's about 1.5 years in development right now, making slow but
steady progress.

i'm developing solely under linux with sdl/opengl, but the
current source compiles out of the box for mingw32 targets.

for testing and grabbing the screenshots i used meshes from the
startrek-blender website, as they look terrific, but aren't really
well suited for realtime 3d.
